I can't believe it is Wednesday

I can't believe I missed my Tuesday post! I definitely have a lot on my plate and Iceland on the brain. So in honor of Iceland I'm talking felt. Not just any felt, but felted soap to scrub in the tub.

You say: "Felt in the tub! That's just wrong. Who wants wet wool that smells like wet Yak?"
Fiat Luxe says: "No worries. Our fragrant soaps are wrapped in a fuzzy little anti-fungal wool that exfoliates as you scrub and shrinks along with the soap for a perfectly sudsed wash every time."

They are green, beautiful and reusable - just cut a slit and insert a new bar. Healthy for your skin and the environment. Another win, win.

I have never seen anything quite like this soap invention! It's almost genius. I struggle with wasting soap because it either hardens to my soap dish, melts as a result of water exposure, or molds along with your bath tub itself. I have moved away from bar soaps and now use body wash for this reason. But, I worry about what I am putting on my skin. This soap is made from the purest ingredients and avoids chemical processing during its production. Reading about the product on the website really made me think about what my soap goes through before it touches my skin...How clean are we really? How much damage is my soap doing to my skin? With the felted soap I feel as though worries can be ignored. Also the fact that i do not have to continuously wash face cloths sounds like a relief! I'm definitely on a search for this "clean" soap!

I never would think felt could be used to make soap! This new invention is very interesting and even better because it is eco friendly. The fact that the felt is anti fungal is even better. I makes happy to know that can continue to re-use it without worry that it will collect germs and bacteria.I won't have to worry about constantly cleaning it. Which also saves energy which I waste by washing them. It does not seem like it would be complicated to use at all. I am very interested in trying this product!

I hate when all I have left of my bar of soap is that little sliver, and when I try to use it it slips out of my hand and washes right down the drain. What a waste! I love to exfoliate and I use gloves in the shower, but sometimes it is such a hassle. I would love to use my soap normally and have the same exfoliating experience that I do with my gloves. The eco-friendly part of the product is also a great plus. If I had this, I think I would feel even cleaner for helping the environment.

I have always wanted to return to using bar soaps, but hated the soap-scummy mess that goes along with them. Eco-wise, they use let packaging than body washes, and you tend to purchase less often than you would with liquid body wash. Both are strong incentives for a consumer. This new product adds convenience to the mix and I couldn't see why anyone would use body wash again!

This product is also keeping the most important thing in mind...the consumer's skin! Knowing exactly what is being put on my skin is a relief and would make any clean freak all the more clean.

I would love to get my hands on one of these. I feel I need something to scrub with when I shower, not just foamy soap. I also like that these are reusable and you don't have to get a new one once you are through with the soap. Thea idea of just being able to insert your favorite soap into a reusable felt scrubber is just great.

This product sounds great, and completely practical. My mom has a scrubber with the same concept except its used for washing dishes, and there is a compartment for liquid soap. It makes washing dishes so much easier and the sponge actually lasts for a long time. With products like these, I don't know why a reusable scrubber for the shower isn't more common.
